PERAN HIMPUNAN PENCERAMAH JAMBI DALAM PEMBANGUNAN BIDANG AGAMA DI KOTA JAMBI

Pemuka agama memiliki peran penting di Indonesia, tidak saja dalam bidang keagamaan namun juga
dalam bidang lainnya, terutama gerakan sosial kemasyarakatan. Menggunakan rancangan studi kasus,
kajian ini berusaha menelaah peran para ustadz yang tergabung dalam Himpunan Penceramah Jambi
dalam mendukung pembangunan bidang agama di Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini mendapati bahwa para
ustadz ini memiliki peran, tidak saja sebagai pembimbing dan pemberi landasan moral dan etis, mereka
juga bertindak sebagai motivator dan mediator antara masyarakat dengan pemerintah dan pengusaha.
